Root Practice is built to be honest about what it collects and what it does not. This page describes exactly that, in plain language.
Email signups
When you submit your email on this site (to unlock a template library, subscribe in the footer, or sign up for tool and kit updates), it is sent to MailerLite, our email service provider, along with a tag noting which page it came from. We use your email to send what you signed up for and, occasionally, news about Root Practice. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. We do not sell or rent your email address to anyone.
Calculators and the tracking dashboard
The No-Show Recovery calculator, the Bridge Offer Calculator, the Deal-to-Loyal assessment, and the Deal-to-Loyal tracking dashboard all store what you enter (numbers, customer names, notes) in your browser's local storage only. That data never leaves your device and is never sent to Root Practice or anyone else. Clearing your browser data, or using a different browser or device, will clear it.
Accounts and tracking
Root Practice does not have user accounts. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and tool usage in aggregate (pages viewed, general location, device type). Google Analytics sets cookies to tell returning visitors apart. We do not use this data to identify you, and what you type into the calculators and templates never reaches Google Analytics or us. You can block analytics cookies with your browser settings or a content blocker and every tool still works.
Kit purchases
Kits are paid for through Stripe, our payment processor. Payment processing happens on Stripe's systems; Root Practice never sees or stores your card number. Stripe collects your email to send a receipt and, if you buy a kit, to verify your purchase when you access it. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
